Turnkey Safety Improvement Project at Saica Flex Facility
The Problem
Saica Flex’s Buxton facility faced unclear external traffic flow and parking management, increasing the risk of vehicle collisions and reducing personnel safety.
The facility also had traditional signage for safety protocols, but they required frequent maintenance and replacement, which reduced engagement and added costs.
Over time, this impacted pedestrian safety and detracted from the site’s professional appearance.
The Solution
To address these issues, a comprehensive exterior and interior marking scheme was tailored to Saica Flex’s needs.
Using the Optimum range of line marking solutions, we implemented a clear pedestrian walkway, improved bay and zone markings, and enhanced traffic flow around the site.
Internally, Quasar visual safety systems were installed, projecting safety signs onto the floor at key areas and crossing points to ensure that safety requirements are directly visible to employees.
The Result
This project has significantly improved parking, traffic control, and pedestrian safety at Saica Flex.
The dedicated exterior markings now guide vehicle flow and provide pedestrians with a safe, well-defined route.
Inside, projected markings have heightened safety awareness, with employees engaging more actively with safety protocols, while adding a modern, professional look to the facility.
