The Problem
Aryzta Food Solutions faced a busy factory environment with high levels of forklift and pedestrian activity, creating several blind spots.
While a pedestrian walkway existed, it was unclear, unsegregated, and lacked effective safety systems. This increased the risk of accidents for both pedestrians and forklift operators.
The Solution
Active and passive safety solutions tailored to the unique scenario were implemented to protect workers and streamline site operations.
Pedestrian walkways were segregated with durable barriers and gates, ensuring visibility before crossing.
Clear and highly durable floor markings replaced the confusing old ones, and real-time projected markings were linked to sensors to alert forklift drivers when pedestrians were approaching crossings.

Aryzta Food Solutions has since experienced a significant improvement in site safety and efficiency.
